today is our last philo 1 class. it's our last block meeting too. but i won't attend. i have a mock exam this afternoon and i need to study study study! (but what am i doing here?) anyway, i only keep in mind that there's only 2 weeks and then it's sembreak.
i so want to have a vacation.
and my obsession with sembreak is so pathetic.

last night i finished reading grisham's pelican brief. i sort a liked it, which it's also funny because it actually has an ending. unlike the client or the chamber, it isn't a tragedy and it didn't end on a lowly witness protection program. i should have bought this book instead of wasting precious money on the blow fly, which is totally boring and gross. i think cornwell lost her touch on that.
the history 2 exam was finally given out. it's a big relief that i passed it because only 8 of us did, say, out of more than 30? well, i passed but it isn't a high mark that just a few more mistakes, i'll fail. but it's still a relief, thank God. i don't know what i'd do if i also fail that because i failed my english exam for that. i never realized history 2 would be part of my problems. it's just a GE. it's not as if it's my major course. but maintaining it wouldn's be a piece of cake. we don't have a reference and we just depend on our professor who i think has an information overload. she sometimes mess up her lectures. i hope she'll realize that it's isn't easy for us to write what she's saying and at the same time listen to her. well, it's just one exam to go. have to do better on that na lang.

friday - i went to csi to buy some pictures. not part of my agenda, but i watched the play on vcd. i totally suck in there. well, i think i suck. it's so hilarious to see my insanity on screen. but it's not totally embarrassing, ridiculuous just to finally see how i looked like during the play. but i'm thinking of not buying the vcd. well ok, maybe i would but i'll watch it when i'm 80.
saturday - my devcom 10 group met at mcdo and to make our sample poster and written report for our culminating project. we stayed at mcdo for 7 and a half hours, then to lb square and when it drizzled, we went to the vega- third floor on the stairs. pathetic, but we managed and we were able to finish it. can you believe it? when i arrived at home i was
surprised to see my cousins. same old. we made fun out of everything and it's totally insane. but not as insane as myself on vcd. we told stories and made fun of our crazy antics and reminisced on funny situations we had. we watched parent trap on star movies and when everything was turning out fine, i lost my earring.
sunday - i still haven't found my earring. my cousins went home while we went to church. then we went home and ate lunch. i watched even stevens the movie and csi then took a nap from 2:30 until 5:30. i watched a movie again in cinemax (i don't know the title) then i went home to look for some healthy recepies for our nasc 6 food fest. i found one in reader's digest then i continued working on -something- until 1:00 in the morning. finally i slept because my mom was starting to wonder what i'm doing so late at night.
monday - still haven't found my earring and it's starting to piss me off.

i canceled my lunch with marissa and bai because we're supposed to have a meeting in NAsc6. unfortunately, it wasn't really a meeting because the leader wasn't there and we weren't able to make up anything. one thing good about it though, is that i saw cj and we exchanged a few talks, even for just a while. i miss hanging out with her and the others.
anyway, i'm at cyberspace today, tyipng and munching a burger because there's really nowhere for me to hang out. but it's okay. internet never bores me.

heck. i failed my second long exam in english. terrible and stupid. how i can i fail it? it's only english. good news is we still have a 3rd long exam and finals. i just hope i could pull it up.
history 2 exam wasn't given yet. checking's not yet finished.
our bible study was canceled for the day. i waited at the auditorium steps but i didn't get bored because i was reading a sheldon while waiting. and by the way, sheldon is the new author i am eyeing at. he's like agatha christie, only he's american, and he's like carolyn keene, only his books are much thrilling than keene's teenage made books.
anyway, as i was going back to humanities, i saw donna and we went there together. we also went at coop. reason i'm telling you this? no specific reason, really. i just have nothing to important to say. just that i failed my english exam.
the heck. it's just grammar.

i received my philo 1 2nd long exam result and i'm surprised i got a perfect score. actually, it exceeded the perfect score because i got 42/41.
i also attented, for the third time in 2 months, our block meeting. so far it was fun, unlike before when it was so plain boring. our activity was paint me a picture (i'm sick of that) and we weren't losers, for the first time. we were actually in the lead, can you believe it?
anyway, my nervousness isn't over yet because we're going to receive our history midterm result this afternoon. i'm not really sure what i got because it's very puzzling. you see, i'm not really used to answering tests that are so tagalog. ok, so maybe only in our filipino class when i was in high school. it was a bit hard and complicated but i still hope i'd get a high score on that one. i studied for that exam for, like, three days, mind you.
haay... so far my day is turning out fine, although i have a math quiz this afternoon and another boring devcom 10 lecture. sometimes i hate to admit that devcom 10 is boring. come to think of it, that's my course and that's where i'm going to take my major, but here i am, bored with it. well, i guess it has to do with the teacher or something.
and by the way, i changed my blog's design. noticed it? it's much better than before although i still don't like it. i can't even upload a picture. this kind of technologies makes me feel stupid. but mind you i'm not really that stupid (again with the denials), only a little clueless. and the ironic part is, i'm going to take IT for my Ge course next sem. one of my classmates doesn't want to take it because it's difficult daw and afraid she might fail, but then, who's afraid of a challenge? it's stupid when you take something because you already took it in high school and you already know it. what's the point of studying it all over again? it's like going back to grade one.

bye sweet sixteen...
hello seventeen!
my birthday last night was a blast. although it's a little disappointing that my former high school classmates weren't able to join me for dinner at casa, i realized everything happened for a reason. my dad was there, my cousins, my mom and my uncle. we had a simple party but it was truly memorable. we ate (yea!) and we had a little jamming. i didn't know my dad knows how to play the guitar. and there were also promises i sure hope would come true in my eighteenth birthday.
i'm going to enroll for piano lessons this afternoon and buy few shirts at shapers.
my dad also said he'd buy a guitar for me when he goes to Davao. (and i'm praying for that!)
cool birthday. a lot of fun, unexpected things happened.
the desire of my heart was granted.
well, not totally, but almost. XD

i am so relieved. i finally got my Tarugo reaction paper back and i got a 91%. it's high enough for me because i only got like 75 in my first reaction paper about Socrates' philosophy. but i don't give a heck about him anyway so i didn't really took that reaction paper seriously. right now i'm making my NASC 6 written report. actually, i'm not really sure if we're supposed to submit it today but i made one just in case it is to be submitted. i gave up my block meeting for this, you know that? but it's no big deal, i don't want to attend the block meeting anyway. i mean, i think i have a lot of other better things to do, you know that? and it's so boring i want to get out of that place immediately. it's as if we are being treated like elementary students there. i know, i may sound harsh but it's true. at least in my own point of view. well, i gotta go know. the rates getting higher every minute. later.

hi blog, haven't posted here for a while. well, you see, i was so busy during the past few weeks.
anyway, my birthday is only a few days away. and i'll be turning 17. i'll be leaving my sweet sixteen. bummer coz i want to do a little liezl acting before i really leave it. but i'm gald as well to be turning 17 because i want to make forget the past and start a new life.
i thought august month is suppossed to be a "hell month". but you know, i never really experienced "hell month", until now. so it's really the last week of august and the first week of september. so far i haven't failed any exams yet and i'm not planning to fail one. i'm just so relieved that i didn't fail my pe1 exam even though it's not really included in our final grade because I DON'T WANT TO TAKE PE NEXT SEM! ok, calm down.
that's all for now. got nothing really to say.
next time again.
